Seriously - now what?

Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.

Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Grey.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 3.
Tears: No.

Baggy and the gang have been getting on with life and having a lovely time in this wonderful weather - in between the not-so-wonderful weather! Even with Hormonal Hannah's influence, Baggy has been feeling great, apart from being ridiculously tired and quite breathless. She's been doing the Mediterranean thing, of having a siesta nearly every afternoon! Presumably her tiredness is down to her anaemia, but for once she's done the right thing and is getting it checked out. Getting up at 5.00am for the Halesworth Brocante on Saturday was a challenge, but it was worth it!

Creative Clara is beginning to get the hang of it now, although Calum kindly bought Clara some new collapsible tables! This meant that the set-up was different, and Calum decided to take shelter with the pooch, as Hannah got more-and-more wound up! Eventually she got there though, and had an extremely profitable day. Pepper was an angel as always.

Calum went off to his new place of work to meet people and put stuff in his new lorry, so Furry Mama had to try to look after Pepper while Clara served customers. It was easy! She even went off to get a cup of tea, out of his sight, and told him to stay where he was (on this chair next to the stall), and he did!

On Sunday Calum had a visit from his twin sisters in the morning, so Baggy had to get up and rustle The Domestic Goddess up to do a rapid bit of house tidying before they arrived. Tea and chat in the garden, while Gloria Gardener did a bit of weeding. It was lovely to see them. When they left, after a bite of lunch, Baggy felt so tired she had a quick lie down. Three hours later.......! The poor pooch was going a little stir-crazy as it was so hot that he hadn't had a hurtle about, so Calum suggested taking him to the beach. It was interesting leaving the sunshine and entering the sea fret! The mist was so thick that they could barely see the pooch as he charged after his ball.

Calum headed off to his new job bright and early on Monday, so Furry Mama took Pepper into town. He loves the park, probably as much as the beach! And Clever Bird knows why - water!

Smelly dog! But at least he's getting used to being hosed down in the garden. Clara went and checked out her vintage cabinet, and collected her profits! When they got home again, she started pricing up some more stock to fill in the gaps. Then fell asleep - again! Just call her 'dormouse', Baggees. When she emerged a few hours later, the answerphone was bleeping with a message from Cal saying that he'd be home - very shortly as she'd only just heard the message. Now this was lovely, apart from two negatives: first, it required The Goddess to rustle up some supper (Baggy hadn't intended bothering to eat), and second, Baggy lost control of the remote for the television. But that's a small price to pay, for the novelty of having number one furry home on a week night.

Of course he had to get off to bed early, as he had another early start. Baggy slept badly as usual, so was on Southwold beach by 9.30, much to the pooch's delight. He now starts whimpering with excitement as soon as Baggy heads out of the village on the road to the coast!

It certainly wasn't warm in the breeze, but Baggy paddled (in the surprisingly warm sea), as Clara picked up pebbles, Furry Mama threw the ball and Freda Fretter picked up plastic.

Clara had intended going straight into town to restock her vintage cabinet, but Pepper was exhausted and Baggy felt a little weird, so they went straight home instead. As Clara emptied out the pebbles that Baggy collected for her sister, who arrives for a few days on Thursday, Freda sorted out the plastic she picked up.

And this was just rubbish that was in her path. Sad and worrying - it never used to be so bad! As The Goddess took it to the bin, Clever Bird heard bashing noises, and realised that Clara could take her pebbles out of the polisher and start stage two of their processing. She wasn't expecting this......

Freda wondered if there were any pebbles left under the gunk! The second pot wasn't quite so frothy!

And Freda needn't have worried as there were still pebbles in there.

Much rinsing later, these lovelies emerged, and this is only stage one! Clara is excited!

Stage two will be started for the next week, as soon as Clara's published this blog and Furry Mama's taken the pooch out once more. Meanwhile Baggy missed two phone calls. The first was www.holidaycottages.co.uk checking that Clara was okay for a new booking for Blossom Cottage in July. The second had not left a message, but came up as the Doctors' surgery. Freda Fretter called them back. The receptionist checked Baggy's notes. 'Were you expecting a phone call from us?'
'No, but I know I missed a call from you and I had some blood tests on Thursday, so I guess it's about that.'
'Just a moment, I'll have a look.' Freda waited, trying not to panic. 'Yes, it's about your anaemia, your iron levels are very low.'
'Tell me something I don't know,' thought Clever Bird, while Freda panicked.
'The Doctor wants to see you.'
'Yes, I know. I have an appointment on Monday.'
'No, she wants to see you before then, because she needs to refer you.'
'Oh! That doesn't sound good. Monday's not exactly far away.'
'She's not in tomorrow, but can you come in on Thursday morning?'
Now what Baggees? As per usual, just when Baggy thinks that everything is coming together............
