Some things take forever.

Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.

Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Black.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 7.
Tears: No.
Pancakes (Yes/No): Cheesecake - much nicer.
Syns (Baggy is allowed 8-15): See above!
Weight in her terrifying naked state (Stones and pounds): Still not looking.
Overall day:  😑

Apologies baggees, Creative Clara needed a little break. But she's back! Friday was a very long day. They had to get number one furry to the Doc's for 9.30am, so left the house at 7.00 in Billy Bob Jalopy. The Doc said that Cal was on the mend, but not mended. Another week of rest and anti-biotics needed. Another appointment next Friday at the same time. But Freda Fretter was relieved that he is at least on the mend. Into Cal's workplace to explain the above, then to the holiday cottage. Hormonal Hannah had made Baggy forget how much tidying there still was to do. Gloria Gardener set to with enthusiasm.

They had the property manager coming round at 4.30pm to meet them and see the house, so it was all systems go. It's still not quite ready, but it's now 99.5% there. At least she seemed to like it. And they now have a second booking for September. Phew! Lots more needed, but it's looking promising.

Of course they didn't get home again until 7.30pm, so fish and chips for supper (and a battered sausage for Minty Mutt) was the order of the day.

Yesterday, not suprisingly, Baggy needed a lie in. She got up at 10.00, only to realise that Calum, who is still sleeping in the spare room, was fast asleep! He finally emerged at 11.00, which is not like him at all, but clearly he needs to rest. He decided that as the ozone had done him and Minty a lot of good on Thursday, another pootle out was required. Mint fancied Dunwich. As it's one of Baggy's favourite places, she agreed. They decided on a circular walk along the sea front. But they hadn't bargained on the pebbles. They were hard going - especially for Mint's arthritic hips. He decided that he needed a paddle. Furry Mama made sure he stayed on the lead as she didn't fancy him being dragged out to sea, by the stopper waves.

The mutt loved it, but he claerly didn't want to go any further. Neither for that matter did Baggy. They had a rest.

Number one furry kept himself amused, while Hormonal Hannah and Minty Mutt sat in the sun (and wind), listening to the surf.

Hmmmmm!

They got home and decided to do a bit of gentle garden pruning, very gentle, there was more sitting in the sun than anything.

Furry Mama met her first slow worm! Calum found it sleeping on a wall.

So cute! She met her second one today. Sadly it was in the mouth of Bracket cat, but it was still alive, so it might survive. Baggy's Dad always said that there were lots of slow worms in the garden.

Today has been a sorting-out day. The Domestic Goddess has spent all day trying to get into the "office" room. Bit-at-a-time-Betty had to get involved, or it will never happen, but Baggy needed to take her angst out on something! Remember the land (their own garden), that Baggy is buying back - well it's still not resolved. Today Baggy's useless solicitor sent the contract for one of the buyer's - with Baggy's own rough sketch attached as proof of what she's buying. Seriously. WTF? No one can agree where the boundaries currently are, and this is supposed to make legal sense to the land registry????! And she sent a Deed of Covenant for Baggy to sign, with absolutely no reference to the paragraphs that form the covenant. The woman is as Calum said, "incompetent". Baggy is going to have to try to keep Hormonal Hannah strong enough for Clever Bird to have words with the woman tomorrow. The never-ending saga goes on................
