Baggy is in a weird and wonderful place at the moment. For the last few weeks Psychic Ploppo occasionally draws one of her new Tarot cards out, and they keep telling her that the world is her lobster as it were. They say that whatever Baggy turns her hand to, will work out for her. Luck and the universe is on her side. And it's true, things do seem to be going well, which is why Creative Clara is not giving up on writing her novel. In fact yesterday she took what she's written so far, to the library to get it printed off. And guess what Baggees - she had won a little raffle prize in the 'choose-a-square' raffle they had a few weeks ago! Baggy never wins in these things. Calum thinks she should choose some lottery numbers - he might be right!
Hormonal Hannah's new tactic of making Baggy smile, is still helping to lift her spirits. There's definitely something to it. It seems to make the whole world a happier and more amusing place for some reason. Take for instance a sign Baggy saw in a local village yesterday:
Free Range Eggs and Veg for Sale.
Clever Bird had to stop Baggy from jumping out of Billy Bob Jalopy campervan, to go and see the carrots running round the garden and the spuds playing football with the peas.
Because she is in such a good place, Grotty Groom was determined to take advantage of it today and go and see her beautiful horse. She hasn't seen Wessles for two weeks again, thanks to whatever weirdness goes on in that head of Hannah's. But as Calum really wanted to see Joey, they headed off to the yard this morning. First Furry Mama and Cal took the pooch for a hurtle around after his ball in the indoor school. He just doesn't know when to stop though, so he soon wore himself out. He settled in Billy Bob while Grotty spent a lovely hour with her horse. First she disguised Baggy as a large ball of white horse hair, then she decided to take him out into the round pen to see if he fancied a bit of a leg stretch. Frankly he wasn't fussed!
Meanwhile Pepper Pooch was barking his little head off in Billy Bob, so Furry Mama decided to go and get him. When they got back, as Wessles seemed to be totally chilled, Grotty decided to join him, in the round pen, to see if he still wanted to be with her. He did - instantly, much to Freda Fretter's delight. As soon as Baggy with her painful knee, waddled across the mud like a wonky duck, Wesley followed. Grotty was delighted.

Bit-at-a-time-Betty now needs to work with Grotty to bring Wesley back into work. This will also require her to work with Hormonal Hannah to get Baggy to lose some weight again, so that Grotty isn't too heavy to ride him. Hold that thought Baggy - Hannah has already demolished three bagels today.......
