Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.
Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Yellow.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 2.
Tears: No.
Overall day: 😕
Furry Mama did sofa-sitting duty last night so that Mint didn't have to go upstairs again. Baggy barely slept and struggled to get up at 8.00. But the good news is that Minty Mutt's visit to the vet's this morning was very positive. He has a little weird swelling and bruising in odd places, but it's looking "better than (she) was expecting".
"Well that's almost certainly because although he is resting, at night he does the doggy-equivalent of the hundred-metre sprint, with his wound rubbing on the floor!" explained Furry Mama.
"Yes, that would explain it".
Furry Mama has to "dab it" with sterilised salty water.
He seems in less pain too. Clever Bird was surprised by that, as the lump didn't seem to hurt him at all, however, as the nurse pointed out it could have been trapping a nerve. And that might have been travelling up to his back.
Since he got home, he's been rather sleepy and doesn't want to eat, but Furry Mama thinks he's a little down. Not surprising really. Plus of course today he was offered dog food - not chicken, pork and rice, hand-prepared by The Domestic Goddess! This evening The Goddess cooked a lovely spag. bog. for Baggy and number one furry. Although Creative Clara says so herself, it was delicious. But number one barely touched it. He is also so short-tempered that Baggy and Mint are leaving him to it - bleeping side-effects of antibiotics! They're so strong that Baggy wouldn't be able to take them at all because they cannot be taken with happy pills. So Furry Mama has two furries who are feeling very sorry for themselves. But at least Mint got to eat! Dog food mixed with spag. bog. and cheese rocks apparently. Now The Goddess needs to figure out how to make Calum feel a little bit better..........
