Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Yellow.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 4.
Tears: No.
Overall day: 🐾
Clever Bird decided that it was inadvisable for Minty Mutt to be upstairs in the bedroom last night. Negotiating stairs with a very poorly foot and a large cone on your head, especially when you're not supposed to be doing any exercise at all - bad idea. Furry Mama agreed that Mint should stay downstairs. Problem: Mint is feeling very vulnerable with his dementia and needs to be with his parents. Plan: sleep downstairs with him. Problem: after the stress of the week, Baggy was literally dead on her feet at 9.30 and needed to go to bed. Number one furry on the other hand wanted to wind down by watching films. Plan: Baggy went to bed; Calum watched films then spent the night on the sofa with Minty. Bless Baggy's husband!
Of course Clever Bird had omitted to consider the fact that he couldn't actually reach it! Special breakfast - chicken, pork and rice. Pudding - brie stuffed with antibiotics, tramadol, and dementia pills, with a side drink of milk with Metacam. Baggy had her toast and marmalade with an HRT and a happy pill. Calum had his with a selection of antibiotics. Yep baggees, the house currently looks like a pharmacy. It's a miracle that Hormonal Hannah hasn't taken any dementia pills by accident. The whole of the rest of the day has seen The Domestic Goddess in a cleaning frenzy, while Calum and Mint have been watching vampire programmes on telly. Although Cal did rustle up a gorgeous salad for lunch. Now Baggy is off to get fish and chips. Comfort food! But they are so happy that Mint is home and seems to be doing well. Up early tomorrow to take the boy back to the vet's for a check up........
