Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.
Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Blue.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 4.
Tears: No.
Pancakes (Yes/No): Hot Cross Buns for breakfast!
Weight in her terrifying naked state (Stones and pounds): Who cares?
Overall days: Cold.
Now Baggees who do not live in little old England might well wonder what all the fuss is about. A little bit of snow has landed and that's all the English can talk about. The country has virtually come to a standstill and it is seriously cold. 'Whoopy-do,' Clever Bird can hear lots of you Baggees saying. Not surprising as Creative Clara can see that many of you are from the USA, Canada, Russia, Norway, Poland, Peru, Ukraine, Denmark and many other properly snowy places! And Clara says 'England' for a reason, many Brits will also be laughing at the antics of the English. 'You can't call that snow - it's barely a dusting!' And that is perfectly true, at Baggy's house it's currently just over an inch deep, although it is still snowing. But the English are just not used to it - well down South they're not, to be more accurate. Baggy hasn't seen one flake of the stuff for the last two years and earlier this week it could have been spring!
This was cold, but sunny Sunday.
So Baggees, the fuss is that Baggy and the rest of England are all over-excited about their little dusting of snow, that has pretty much brought the country to a standstill! Because they're just not used to it, and even though they knew it was coming a week ago - they are also totally unprepared for it.
For example, Billy Bob Jalopy is going nowhere because the lane by Baggy's house is compacted powder snow! So here is today's plan Baggees...........

Different folks.....
Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.
Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Yellow.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 4.
Tears: Nope.
Pancakes (Yes/No): Popcorn, vanilla slice, crème egg!
Weight in her terrifying naked state (Stones and pounds): What does she expect?
Overall days: Hard work.
Clever Bird knows it takes all sorts to make the world go round, but some people are just 'me, me, me'. Freda Fretter has a valid concern that some Baggees may think this is the case for Baggy, but to be fair, she doesn't just talk about herself all the time, she does talk about the rest of the gang too!! So hopefully she isn't one of those people. But Clever Bird has noticed recently that unless some people are worrying about themselves, they have nothing else to say. They never seem concerned about the person that they're talking to. They seem to be incapable of having a conversation about anything else in the world, unless they can turn it back to themselves. It is highly annoying and mind-numbingly boring after a while.
Take for example, Hinge and Bracket, unless it's all about them, they have nothing to say. 'Feed us' - purr. 'Stroke us - purr.' 'Let us out' - purr. 'Let us in' - purr. 'Let us back out' - purr.
'I'm feeling a bit down Bracket, can I have a cuddle please?'
'No! I'm busy.'
'Hinge - cuddle?'
'Not at the moment, I need to clean myself, while lying on my back with my legs in the air.'
Frankly, Minty Mutt was a little like that too. Furry Mama adored him and misses him terribly, but from two weeks old, he did his own thing. He would rather be with any other dog than with Baggy. He'd only come back to her when called, once he'd scanned the area to check whether there was something more interesting for him to do. He guarded her and he clearly did love her, but most things were about him.
Wesley is not like that. He worries about Grotty Groom and (despite how some people may view it), he always looks after her. If she is down, he will literally cuddle her. When she rides him, if Baggy is feeling weak or in pain, he knows and adjusts. When Grotty is feeling confident, he'll push her out of her comfort zone! He'll always come to her, in the paddock, in the school, in his stable. And he always forgives her and is just happy to have her back, when stupid Hormonal Hannah is keeping her away from him. He is Baggy's angel. But of course he is a horse, so he doesn't live in the house with Baggy.
Number one furry is the exact opposite of 'me, me me'. He and Baggy have weird and wonderful conversations about all kinds of things, but he is not with Baggy more than he is with her, thanks to his job. So Baggy, and particularly Hannah, get lonely without some positive conversation and interaction. Enter Pepper Pooch! The boy is a charm. He is loving and cuddly and will do anything for Furry Mama and Calum. If Baggy is down, or crying, he literally comes and gives her a cuddle. He'll wrap his paws around Furry Mama's arm, or lay his head in Baggy or Calum's lap. Of course he has Furry Mama wrapped around those little paws, and is totally ball obsessed, but he'd rather be with Baggy or Calum than anyone else in the world.
When Hannah is anxious or really in despair, he somehow not only seems to know, but he generally does something to make her laugh. He is definitely, like Cal and Wessles, a 'give, give, give' person. And that is wonderful. It takes all sorts as Clever Bird says, but people who are a bit of both 'me and give' are Baggy's favourites!
Take number one. He works for fifteen hours on most days, but is still happy to work to help Baggy at the weekend. Gloria Gardener has been on such a massive mission this week that you could barely see the top of the garden for the waste. Yesterday they spent all day doing more cutting and lots of burning! It was like this exactly one year ago; and today it is like this:
And tomorrow it may all be covered in snow.........
