Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Yellow.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 2.
Tears: Nope.
Pancakes (Yes/No): Well yes!
Weight in her terrifying naked state (Stones and pounds): Back where she started.
Overall week: Physical.
Clever Bird wonders what it's like to tread the middle ground. She never has really. One extreme to the other in pretty much everything. Overweight or underweight. Gym six days a week, or once in six months. Even in psychometric tests, she never ever went down the middle of the 1-10 scales - she was always answered with a 1 or 2 or a 9 or 10. Spend, spend, spend or save, save, save. No alcohol for weeks, then a bottle of wine in a night. Extreme moods. Extreme feelings. Just generally extreme. Take this week for instance, Gloria Gardener decided to do a bit of a tidy up. Starting with collecting leaves in gale force winds! Then she decided that clearing was needed to try to return the garden to a garden, rather than a jungle.
Three solid days of flat-out cutting, snipping, yanking, pulling and swearing a lot, while Furry Mama had to constantly throw the ball for a certain pooch. The bank and this side garden, that Baggy had to "buy back", haven't really been touched for about ten years. Gloria tackled the bushes in this side bit first. it was dark by the time she finished.
Sorry about the quality of the photos Baggees, Clara's camera is being difficult and it was dark!
Next day Baggy needed a break and Pepper Pooch needed a treat, so they headed off to Dunwich. It was ridiculously windy, but that meant that they had the beach to themselves!
It's kind of interesting taking photos on a phone. Most of the time Baggy can't see the screen, so she just points and guesses. Apparently, she accidentally pressed a "selfie" button!! Hmmmmm!
Once the pooch was exhausted they headed home, and Gloria hit the garden again, to tackle one bush on the bank. It nearly finished Baggy off. Gloria has no idea what plant it is, but it's evergreen and covered in vicious thorns. It has been left unchecked and has taken over the bank. It grows onto itself and has brambles (huge ones like triffids) growing through it. So even when Gloria had cut branches off, Baggy could not get them out!!
Baggy had so many thorns in her it was a joke! Meanwhile a neighbour turned up to see what all the grunting and swearing was about (oops!). It was the neighbour they'd had to buy the bank off!!
Six hours!! The whole of Baggy's Dad's boule terrain is covered in what Gloria has taken out so far!!
And she still hasn't finished. Heaven knows what she's going to do with it all! There are also over twenty giant bags full of cuttings!
Before:
After:
Quite! Gloria couldn't see the difference either Baggees!! She has yet more to do, but Baggy aches so much that she had today off! She will finish it though Baggees.
But for now, number one furry is home and Baggy is on the wine - drunk - all or nothing Baggy....................
