A change of iron.

Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.

Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Grey.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 6.

Tears: Just assume there have been lots on a daily basis.

Yesterday, whilst Number One Furry went and did the shopping (the man is an angel!), Furry Mama was at the beach with Pepper Pooch. He dropped them off on his way to the supermarket, as Baggy is struggling to drive at the moment. Creative Clara wanted to ceramic hunt too. Hormonal Hannah had to bring Bear along, as she needs him. So, in Baggy's little bag of 'stuff' were: Bear, sunglasses, glasses, a fiver, doggy doo-doo bags, a ceramics collecting pot, Pepper's ball thrower and tennis ball, spare tennis ball, spare tennis ball, (no that's not a mistake, he loses a lot), hanky and lots of sand - clearly surplus to requirements, but there nonetheless, from previous outings. The bag was heavy! Baggy put her big mad cardi. on and off they set. Far from being the cold day that Freda Fretter had thought it was, it was actually very warm, so it wasn't too long before Baggy was boiling hot. Clever Bird had forgotten just how far it is before you even get to the beach - probably a fifteen minute walk - so the pooch was hot! As they were almost there, he shot off up a side path. Furry Mama called him. Nothing. So she toddled off after him - to the edge of the cliff to the beach!

Fortunately, it was only a little cliff, because the pooch was across the beach and in the sea. Swearing to herself, Baggy scrambled/slid down the cliff on her bottom, just as Pepper came hurtling back to her. Baggy's shoes and her big baggy cardigan were added a.k.a. stuffed into her bag, and Clever Bird was wishing that she'd listened to Calum and come in her swimsuit instead. Creative Clara was disappointed. Clever Bird presumes it was something to do with the direction of the tide, but she found one teeny-weeny bit of glass and a couple of bits of tile.

She got very hot, while looking. Bear needed a rest.

Pepper didn't care, he was having his usual lovely time.

How could he not, when he had so much beach to chase about on? There were other people about, generally also with mutts, and Furry Mama spoke to a few. Creative Clara met one lovely lady in particular who was with two puppies and her son. She chatted to them for quite a while and lost track of time. Clever Bird thought that Calum must have finished shopping, so Baggy headed back. He hadn't. So Archaeologist Annie decided to go and explore the church as they waited for him.

The original C14th church must have been magnificent. The little church within a church is adorable.

Psychic Ploppo felt very relaxed in the peace of the place, and Hormonal Hannah felt her anxiety levels dropping, so Baggy and the pooch stayed there for a while.

Annie tried to imagine the grandeur of the original building!

But as she took photos, Clever Bird thought she could see herself

and apparently, that's because she could. So she tried to take an okay one:

Fail. It might be time to get a new phone.

By the time they got home, Baggy was so dizzy that she kept falling sideways. Today she went to get her new iron prescription - worryingly, the pharmacist says that it's exactly the same as the old one, just that it's a tablet rather than a capsule. Clever Bird cannot see therefore how Baggy will tolerate it any better than the last lot, but she's taken her first one, and is now crossing bits.

But between the anaemia and her depression, which is really taking hold again, Baggy is struggling; so Psychic Ploppo is totally grateful for her family, her friends, and her Baggees for all their support. And she is especially grateful to Pepper Pooch for getting her out of the house, and to her angel Wessles for always reassuring her and of course, to the most supportive husband a Baggy could wish for.

So for any of you Baggees who fancy it, if you join Baggy's new Facebook group: The Baggees' Forum, she could say hello - it would be great for Baggy to 'meet' you........
