Early starts.

Clever Bird's plan for Hormonal Hannah seems to be working! Last week, Baggy was up early nearly every day. Furry Mama was on the beach with Pepper Pooch before nine (sometimes well before) on most days. Grotty Groom visited her Boys a few times. The Domestic Goddess vaguely sorted some of the house. Even Gloria Gardener got in on the act; clearing most of the paths up to the garden of leaves and fir pine-needles. Clever Bird did wonder if there was any point, as there are way more leaves still on the trees, but it looked nice for a few hours! And if Gloria keeps at it, she might avoid the steps becoming overgrown once more.

As Gloria worked away, (as hard as she could, when Furry Mama was constantly having to throw the ball for the pooch), Calum and Steve started work on Operation Shed.

Step 1: Move the old shed forwards away from the fence behind it.

Step 2: Start erecting the base for the new shed.

The plan is to build a totally new shed, around the old one, before removing the old one. No, Clever Bird doesn't know how either Baggees, but hopefully number one furry and the professional do! But assuming it does work, it's a good plan, because there is absolutely nowhere to put everything that's currently in the old shed, whilst the work is done.

Freda Fretter and The Domestic Goddess, are both hoping that this is a relatively quick process, as once the new, significantly larger shed is complete, it might be possible to relieve the garage of some of its stuff into the shed - which in turn means that it might be possible to relieve the house of some of its stuff into the garage - which in turn means that it might be possible to finally have an 'almost' uncluttered house. Well, Baggy can live in hope can't she?

Yesterday and today, Furry Mama and the pooch were at Southwold well before 8.00am. And for any of you Baggees who wonder why on earth the British constantly talk about the weather - yesterday Baggy was so dripping wet before she had got a third of the way through Furry Mama's walk, that she headed straight home afterwards. Today, she could barely see where she was going because the sun was so bright!

Today she took Grotty Groom to see her Boys, and was there before 9.00am! The pooch was so tired after his running and swimming, that he happily curled up and went to sleep in the back of Billy Bob Jalopy campervan, so Grotty could groom both horses. They seemed to enjoy it as much as she did.

Baggy decided to have a quick coffee, before heading home. This turned into two slow coffees, while Grotty put the world to rights with Pauline (the lovely yard manager), and Sam, (the lovely groom). Clever Bird couldn't quite believe it when she realised that it was almost noon! Furry Mama panicked a little that Pepper would be stressed, but when she got back to Billy Bob she found him fast asleep!

Talking of 'putting the world to rights', Clever Bird has noticed that a blog she wrote back in March, (with that same title), is suddenly being viewed nearly every day. When she reread it, she can only presume that for some reason it's appearing in people's searches when they try to get information on the current political chaos that is embarrassing the little island that Baggy lives on...

Note to readers: For the avoidance of any doubt, every character in this blog is Baggy! No Baggy was harmed in its writing, although some of them get pretty confused!
