Baggy really needed cuddles today.

Overall day:  😳

Hormonal Hannah started the day in charge of Baggy. Partly because she just didn't want to be in the mess that is her house! And for baggees who were concerned that the Baggy household had been burgled yesterday, sorry that Creative Clara worried you. The house has not been burgled, it's just The Domestic Goddess being her usual stunning self. She has used up all her limited talents getting the soon-to-be-a-holiday cottage looking special and has none to spare on Baggy's home. Unfortunately, because her method of getting the soon-to-be-a sorted, was to remove all surplus stuff to Baggy's home, this has gone a little pear-shaped. If you have no idea what Clara is talking about, have a look at her blog from this morning!

So for once, Hannah actually wanted to get out of the house with her black cloud. Furry Mama and Minty Mutt went for a long walk in the drizzle. When they got back The Domestic Goddess packed up all the recyclable glass into the car. Yes baggees, it was nearly all wine bottles. No baggees, Baggy did not drink all of the wine. Well okay baggees, she did drink most of it, but anyway, it was high time to get rid of the evidence. Clara packed up the postcard she'd sold through Realuv - very carefully, with extra cardboard as it's off to Los Angeles, and Baggy headed off to town with it and the bottles. She managed not to post the card in the bottle bank, but the black cloud was getting worse. Clever Bird decided that what was required was a Wesley cuddle. Baggy got back in the car and took Grotty Groom to the yard. She had forgotten that Wessles knows the sound of her car! As Baggy walked across the yard (out of sight of the paddocks), she could hear Wesley calling to Grotty. Carrots in hand, she headed to the paddocks. Both Boys stopped munching and came over to their gates when they saw Grotty. Clara took photos, but has forgotten to bring the widget to transfer them to her laptop (so here's a lovely old one of them).

When Grotty reached Wesley he blew up her nostrils and gently nibbled her hair with his lips. Baggy started to cry. She feels as though she's letting her beloved horse down, allowing Hormonal Hannah to prevent Grotty from being with him. Psychic Ploppo tried to relay some of these feelings to Wesley, who had by now wandered back off to eat some grass. Baggy stemmed the tears, while Ploppo explained to Wesley how much she loved him. Wesley left his grass and came back to Grotty and rested his chin on top of Baggy's head, which was resting on her folded arms on his gate. They stayed like that for a few minutes and Ploppo "knew" that he understood. "Thanks Wesley". Baggy kissed him on his nose gave him and Joey their carrots, and headed home again feeling a little better.

Baggy phoned Calum and reminded him that they had to be back at the soon-to-be-a at 8.30am again tomorrow, for an electrical safety inspection. "So why am I coming home tonight then?" Good question. So Baggy packed up herself and Minty Mutt and once again drove the length of Suffolk. Just as well, as poor Cal couldn't have driven home if he'd wanted to, as he was in so much pain from yet more intrusive dental work. But before he went, he'd put up the second single bed, worked out how to get them both in the room and put the mattresses on them! The mattresses that had today been left propped up against the front door! Just as well that they did turn up at the cottage today then really, as once again it's been pouring with rain! The mattresses will be checked for comfort tonight as The Goddess is not letting anyone sleep in her beautifully made up double bed........
