Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.
Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Blue.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 1.
Tears: Nope.
Pancakes (Yes/No): No.
Syns (Baggy is allowed 8-15): Lots!
Weight in her terrifying naked state (Stones and pounds): Sigh.
Overall day: 🌞
Baggy was up at six! At the holiday cottage by 7.45am. Why? Because the electrician was coming to replace the fuse boxes and do the safety checks at 8.00am. Gloria Gardener immediately started watering her grass seeds and all her pots, which were suffering in the heat. The electrician texted at 9.30 to say he was tied up on other work and would be late. The Domestic Goddess got on with cleaning and vacuuming. At 11.00 she texted him to ask for an ETA. No response, so Clara decided to get her furniture paint out and attack a little bedside chest, that's been sitting forlornly in the shed for the last few years. At 1.30pm the electrician called to say that if he came now he would be there until 9.00pm at least. "Well that's okay", said Freda Fretter, "as long as it gets done". Clearly not the response he wanted. "Well it might be better if I come on Saturday as it will take all day, and once I've started taking the boxes off, I can't just leave them". Grrrrrrrrrr! Baggy bit Hormonal Hannah's tongue to stop her saying anything horrid. "What time will you come?" "8.30". Sigh!
At 2.00pm Creative Clara decided to go shopping. When she got home The Domestic Goddess used her purchases to finish the second bedroom. She is quite chuffed with the result, although she says so herself.
Yes baggees, it's a tad snug, but it's nice and cosy and hopefully people will love it. There are only a few things left to do now at the cottage for it to be totally ready. Number one furry and Baggy had already planned to be back there on Saturday, with a friend in tow to help with the heavy stuff, so hopefully by the end of the weekend the cottage will be ready for its first guests. Well, apart from waiting for Gloria Gardener's grass to grow properly that is.
Baggy even managed to have a meeting with her neighbour who'll be acting as the cleaner and caretaker. She showed her round the new improved cottage and chatted about what needs doing. Baggy finally set off for home at 5.00pm. Not the day she'd planned, but at least a lot of the final things on The Goddess's to-do-list were ticked off.........
