More expense.

Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.

Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Blue.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 6.
Tears: Amazingly not.
Pancakes (Yes/No): No.
Syns (Baggy is allowed 8-15):  Baggy gives up!
Weight in her terrifying naked state (Stones and pounds): Sigh.
Overall day:  😳

Up early ready for the electrician to "just give us a safety certificate" for the soon-to-be-a-holiday cottage insurance. So much for that "just" Clever Bird. Yes, well done. The electrics failed with a big fat "dangerous" at the very first hurdle. The thingy-boxes are not even close to being up to standard specifications. Whole new thingies required.

Hormonal Hannah went very quiet during the explanation as to the whats and whys of what was needed, she doesn't speak very good Russian or Chinese, or whatever language it was that the very nice electrician was speaking, so she shut down. At least shutting down, in horrific "I don't believe it" shock, meant that she didn't blub. Well at least not externally. Then he mentioned that they might need to change all the sitting room light fittings as they weren't earthed. Nooooooooo! Hannah started to "melt". Calum suggested taking one off the wall to look closely. They did. They have the weirdest wiring ever, but they do appear to be earthed. Phew. Hannah then persuaded the very busy chap to cancel whatever it was he was meant to be doing on Thursday to come and change the thingies and check out the rest of the house.

Gloria Gardener returned to her soil and ripped up weeds to calm Hannah down. Meanwhile Calum was ripping the stair carpet off the stairs. Creative Clara took one look at the result and said that they shouldn't re-carpet it.

Calum went off and bought antique wood oil while The Domestic Goddess, vacuumed, scraped and washed each stair (twice). Clara forgot to take the finished photo, but baggees, they look stunning! She'll try to remember to photo them tomorrow, when once again they are back at the soon-to-be-a!!....

Yes, Grotty Groom does miss her Boys!
