Baggy's come a long way in the last few months.

Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.

Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Yellow.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 2.
Tears: No.
Pancakes (Yes/No): Hmmmm.
Syns (Baggy is allowed 8-15):  👀
Weight in her terrifying naked state (Stones and pounds): Sigh.
Overall day:  😀

It's Mental Health Awareness Week in Britain and it occurs to Clever Bird that it's still frowned upon to admit that one has mental health issues. When Hormonal Hannah merrily mentions that she's on happy pills for her depression to acquaintances or random strangers, she tends to get very weird looks by way of a response. But sometimes when Hannah is really low, or hyper-anxious, she assumes that everyone must be able to see it, so Clever Bird thinks that an explanation might help. Generally it probably doesn't help the other person, but it does help Baggy. So on that basis she doesn't care. Interestingly, it does sometimes help the other person though, "Yes, I'm on them too", usually said very hesitantly. But lots of people are. Fact. So why's it still frowned upon to admit it?

When Hormonal Hannah was sent on her "Stress Management Course", Baggy was in much too dark a place to take it in: keep busy; do your favourite things; take exercise; get up early; don't go to bed until you're really tired; do relaxation exercises; have a routine; find a purpose. Marvellous, if you're not too down to get out of bed, or too scared to leave your house. But now it all makes sense. This week Baggy has done all of the above! Her purpose is to get the soon-to-be-a-holiday cottage, an actual holiday cottage. And she really is succeeding!

Today, she decided to tackle the back garden. Gloria Gardener has been missing her garden, so she enjoyed herself!

Next, get Creative Clara to work with The Domestic Goddess on "setting" the dining table for the photoshoot. Spoons missing! Cloths to be ironed. Glasses and tableware to be washed. Candles needed. Soup and wine needed. But Clara thinks it's okay, although Freda Fretter wonders whether it's good enough.

Next, a quick whizz to the florist's to discuss the flowers. Slight communication problem, but once Clever Bird had reined the florist back in to a holiday cottage budget, rather than a Hilton Hotel budget, Clara was quite excited. She'll be picking up two properly arranged vases on Monday morning, of these flowers.

Freda Fretter is concerned what the holiday cottage lady will make of Clara's choices - all the blurb says to "paint and decorate your holiday cottage in neutral colours to have the widest appeal".  Hmmmmmm! But if there's one thing that Hormonal Hannah has taught Baggy, it's to be true to yourself and how you feel and colour makes the gang happy, so hopefully it will make other people happy as well..........
