Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.
Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Yellow.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 6.
Tears: No.
Pancakes (Yes/No): Nooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Syns (Baggy is allowed 8-15): Let's just say "A cheese burger and slim chips from a famous outlet".
Weight in her terrifying naked state (Stones and pounds): Sigh.
Overall day: 😺
Third day in a row for Baggy's ninety-minute each way commute to the soon-to-be-a-holiday cottage. But tiring as it is for Baggy and anxiety-making as it is for Hormonal Hannah, it's worth it. Finally the cottage is beginning to really look like a proper holiday cottage. Would you want to stay here baggees? Admittedly it's not to everyone's taste; if you love pristine, spacious, modern, open-plan buildings then it's not for you. But hopefully holidaying in a historic property in an area of outstanding natural beauty, will appeal to many. Clever Bird certainly hopes so, as it's a big investment in time and money!
So, today's progress:
Grass seed watered in the vain hope that it might start to grow.
Alcove for the old bread oven painted white again, from yesterday's interesting choices on Creative Clara's part - heavily influenced by Hormonal Hannah's brainlessness, which she thought she'd share with you!
Panicky trip into Long Melford to try and find a suitable support for the television.
Stage 1: The too big and dominant table that the holiday cottage lady said needed to go.
Stage 2: Clara's mistake purchase of a shabby chic cupboard that turned out to be even more dominant.
Stage 3: Old oak table - fine except for all the wires showing.
Stage 4: A Little cabinet found in the antique centre. Yay!
Just need to remove the back-plate now.
Clara even found a new home for the shabby chic cupboard.
A few little tweaks to the bedroom.
Log basket purchased. Green paint to paint the front door purchased. Cruet set purchased. Multi-fuel burner cleaned of ash and soot. Area vacuumed. Logs put in basket. Cushions poofed! Lamp shades purchased, but Clara isn't too sure about them.
Lamp shades or no lamp shades baggees? They don't look perfect as they still have cellophane on them in case Clever Bird takes them back, but number one furry thinks the lights glare, and he has a point:
All in all things are coming together and Baggy is feeling rather proud of the gang and getting quite excited about the photoshoot on Monday. Back again tomorrow as there's still so much to do, but it's amazing how much both physical exercise, and Baggy making Clever Bird use her brain to plan and coordinate everything, is helping Hormonal Hannah keep the black cloud on the far horizon.........
