Seriously fed up now.

Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.

Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Black.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 8.
Tears: Yes.
Pancakes (Yes/No): Might as well have had!

Weight in her terrifying naked state (Stones and pounds): 14st 4lbs, which is really flaming annoying, as on Tuesday she was 13st 13lbs 😢.
Overall day: 💣.

Freda Fretter really didn't want Creative Clara to write this blog today, but Clever Bird is making her, because she says that she needs to. It's hard putting a chirpy face on things - especially in writing. Reading this blog, even Hormonal Hannah would believe that Baggy lives the life of Reilly (whoever he was, but presumably he had a wonderful, easy life). And that is very true in many respects. Baggy has wonderful furries in her life, especially her number one, who treats her like a Queen, and provides for the family so that she doesn't have to work. So she can spend time enjoying the lovely county she lives in and training her gorgeous rescue pooch. She has not one, but two beautiful houses. She has her dream transport in the form of Billy Bob Jalopy campervan. When she can muster up Grotty Groom's existence, she has two amazing horses who she adores (although she has a funny way of showing that sometimes). Yep, she is one lucky bird. She also has good health and is relatively fit. But.........

probably on more days than not, she feels awful. If you've never experienced it (and Baggy sincerely hopes that you haven't), it's a feeling of some, unseeable impending doom. A sick feeling in your stomach. It's actually physical: difficulty breathing, a racing heart and lots of headaches. But a dread that something is about to go horribly wrong. Clever Bird knows that it's "just" Hormonal Hannah and her depression and anxiety bringing Baggy down, but that knowledge doesn't help. And knowing that Baggy does in fact live the life of Reilly, makes her feel even worse about feeling that way. But she doesn't talk/write about it much, because it seems so self absorbed. So she's lying to you Baggees and she doesn't want to. It's not surprising. Most people with depression don't want to let the world know they suffer from it. Freda Fretter doesn't want Clara to write some sob-story either.  But sometimes it's hard to be totally honest about how difficult Baggy is finding it to even get out of bed in the morning. Thank goodness for the pooch, he makes her get up and out. Although today she hasn't made it any further than the garden.

After discovering yesterday that a couple of dogs have died on East Anglian beaches in the last week, from eating who knows what?, Freda Fretter is too worried to put the pooch at risk. She'll have to find some new places to visit for the time being. But today she couldn't face it, so Furry Mama played ball with him in the garden.

It's the first time that Gloria Gardener has been up there since the storms. There was some damage after all, mainly just bits of branch that had fallen, but other stuff too.

Minor really, although apparently the door has also been torn off its hinges at the holiday cottage 😩. But at least the trees are still standing!

And now that the remaining leaves have been blown off, the house is visible from the top of the garden.

In a bid to try and keep the impending doom at bay, Clever Bird has decided that action is required. The gang has to be kept busy. Baggy needs a purpose to keep Hormonal Hannah on an even keel and get her out of bed and out of the house. So she has set the gang members missions for the year ahead!

  • Creative Clara is going to start writing her novel once again, with an aim of sending it out to some agents. Stage 1, edit and type up a few chapters.
  • She is also going to expand her Etsy shop Realuv.
  • And do more vintage fairs.
  • The Domestic Goddess is going to paint the spare bedroom and annexe to attempt to eradicate the damp.
  • She will also try to paint the rest of the external woodwork on the house - if Baggy can get over her vertigo.
  • Gloria Gardener is going to garden!! With Clara's help, she's going to aim to getting it looking nice enough for the village Open Gardens in the summer.
  • Furry Mama is going to start agility training with Pepper Pooch.
  • Grotty Groom is going to see the Boys more. She can't say more than that at present as Hormonal Hannah seems to have a major block as far as they're concerned 😡.
  • Archaeologist Annie will see whether there is a local group that she (and the pooch) can attend.
  • Bit-at-a-time-Betty is going to support all the above gang members and not make Clever Bird push them too far for Hannah to cope.
Hannah feels slightly better knowing that she'll have a proper purpose. And much much better because Calum has just got home from work.

However, she's also had Furry Mama in tears because Pepper's allergy test results are finally back. Cal picked them up on the way home, as Furry Mama needed him to collect Hinge cat's tablets to help her digestive system! It will be easier to tell you what he's not allergic to! But she'll do the full list!

He is allergic to: Grass, Weeds, Trees, Mites and Fungus! 😖

Okay, so that's a bit of a challenge. But the food is worse!

He is allergic to: Eggs, Fish Mix, Salmon, Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Pork, Turkey, Venison and Rabbit!!!! 😭

So, thinks Clever Bird, he'll be a vegetarian pooch - yeah right - he is also allergic to: Sweet Potato, Soybean, Peanuts, Carrot (one of his favourite snacks), Corn, Oats, Tomato and Banana! 😶

He mustn't have any of the above foods (particularly bad for him are the ones in red), and because he's so young, the allergies will get continually worse unless they're treated.

The only things he's NOT allergic to: Milk, Yeast, Potatoes, Rice, Barley, Wheat (which bizarrely most dogs are allergic to), Sugar Beets, Sesame Seeds, Squash, Green Beans, Peas, Berry Mix (Cranberry/Blueberry), Shellfish Mix (Crab/Shrimp/Oyster) and Apples. 😮

He is going to have to have more specific tests next. But obviously Furry Mama is really concerned and Freda Fretter is panicking. The Domestic Goddess might have a new mission - learn to cook especially for the pooch! But there are a few foods not on the list that Clever Bird is praying might be okay for him, like duck, pheasant etc, but Freda isn't holding out much hope. But whatever the case Calum and Furry Mama will do the right thing for Pepper, because apart from the fact that they absolutely adore him, frankly, he's pretty much the only thing that's keeping Baggy going during the week, when Calum is away at work..........

  2. that is way too many goals my love. Break them down into bite size pieces or order them in preference and choose 2 to work on over the next 6 months. It's a bit like you've broken both your legs and you are telling yourself that in 6 months you will run a marathon, climb a mountain and take up free jumping!!! All of these goals are great but they are lifelong goals so you need to think ABOUT SETTING YOURSELF ACHIEVABLE goals within your goals. Have you tried CBT? or EMDR therapy. have you tried tapping therapy? All work. xxx

    1. Thanks Funky, I know I always go to extremes, and I know you're right. I shall be concentrating on the ones that might earn me some money in the first instance! xx
