Simple things.

Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.

Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Blue.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 5.
Tears: No.
Pancakes (Yes/No): Trying!

Weight in her terrifying naked state (Stones and pounds): 😱.
Overall day: ⛅.

What a night! Baggy's little house was literally being moved by the strong winds. At one point it actually seemed to shake like a jelly. It is an old timber-framed house, but still, it was a little disconcerting. Freda Fretter was worried what she was going to wake up to. The back garden does after all have some seriously tall trees in it, that would land on the house should they be blown over! Pepper slept on. Baggy finally did as well. He woke her at 8.00. No power. Clever Bird decided that they might as well go back to bed and hope that the power came back on. They got up at 10.00. No power. So even though the heating is gas, that didn't work either.

Furry Mama decided that they might as well head out. There didn't appear to be any damage at all that Baggy could see, much to Freda's relief. As Clever Bird was slightly concerned whether the roads would be okay, the nearest place to go to was Southwold. Their favourite place anyway, so that was fine. There were a few trees down en route, but they'd already been cleared to the roadside. The tide was in, and it was obvious it had been a rough night, although surprisingly the power was on in the town.

But the sea was further in than Baggy ever remembers seeing it. A lot of the beach was inaccessible, much to the pooch's annoyance.

But Baggy wanted to walk to the pier to get a cup of tea, as she hadn't had one. The café was packed though, so they didn't bother. Back on the beach again, Pepper happily chased his ball. Hormonal Hannah enjoyed the wonderful day, even though she felt pretty low.

They walked for nearly ninety minutes, enjoying the peace of the beach.

By the time Baggy got home, the power was on again! Yay. The Domestic Goddess took great joy in making Baggy a cup of tea. Sometimes the simple things in life are the best...........
