Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.
Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Yellow.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 0.
Tears: No.
Overall day: Stunning.
Today has felt more like a wonderful August Bank Holiday than a mid-October Sunday. There was not a cloud in the sky. And if Baggy could reveal her (far too hairy) legs to the world, it would have been a summer dress day. Much too nice a day for staying inside. So today's Pepper Pooch socialisation exercise was at Aldeburgh where he could enjoy the beach and get a bit more used to a town. It wasn't an easy night. The pooch decided that he needed to get up at 5.00am. Furry Mama obliged and took him out into the garden. But he then decided that he needed Furry Mama to get up and stay up! Baggy put her foot down - well more accurately, she put her bottom back in bed, and Pepper back in his crate. He wasn't amused. He started barking and wouldn't stop. Furry Mama ignored him. Calum somehow fell back to sleep. Eventually Pepper gave up, did a massive sigh and went back to sleep. Result. At 7.00am he whined to be let out. Furry Mama gave in. He joined Baggy and Cal on the bed.
They left Calum in bed and went for an early morning walk and ball throwing session. Then played with a different ball in the garden. Calum finally emerged, and they headed to Aldeburgh. Clever Bird should have realised: stunning warm weather/Sunday = everyone and their dog at the seaside. They managed to park. Just. And had a wonderful day.
Coffees in a really busy little pedestrian alley with lots of scary stuff.
A chill-out on the beach.
Cheeseburger by the Moot Hall.
A bit of modelling on the sea wall.
A paddle. By Baggy - Pepper was a bit scared!
Much hurtling after a ball.
A bit of a collapse.
A walk back to Billy Bob.
Total collapse. Well for a while at least (hopefully)..............
