Planning for the future.

Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.

Baggy's daily state!
Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Yellow.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 2.
Tears: No.
Overall day: 😤

Number one furry left for work at 4.00am. Clever Bird is really not sure how he does it - especially after Hormonal Hannah and Minty Mutt kept him awake rather a lot last night, with Mint throwing himself around in his sleep and Hannah getting Baggy up a few times. Baggy on the other hand emerged at 9.00am. It was a lovely autumn day for Mint and Furry Mama's walk. Birds twittering, sun shining, dragonflies whizzing about, bunnies munching and lots of mud and puddles for a completely inappropriately dressed Baggy to avoid and Mint to head straight into. Halfway round, it started to get very dark. They just got home before the Heavens opened. Autumn has arrived properly in Suffolk.

Mint settled down for his old-boy snooze and Creative Clara set about wrapping up her latest order from Realuv. At least she's contributed a little to the household income today. She also had a phone call confirming her first booking for the holiday cottage for next year. So Clever Bird decided that her priority should be to get more of both. But first Baggy needed to take Clara into town to post her parcel. She also took an old pair of ankle boots to be fixed (glued back together on the toe - they look like those boots that old tramps wore in cartoons, with a gaping "mouth" where the sole has come unstuck), and re-heeled. But Freda Fretter knows that buying new boots is not an option at the moment, and Baggy's loved these ones for years. Her hope is that she'll be able to wear them with woolly tights under her ubiquitous dungarees, as it gets colder.

On the way home Furry Mama went to the vets to pick up the rest of Mint's Tramadol tablets and order next month's. She was probably out for a little under an hour, but when she opened the door, Mint greeted her as though she'd been gone for days. Dementia is awful! Lots of cuddles and a salmon-skin chewy later, he seemed a little calmer.

Clever Bird decided that Clara needed to add some more products to her Etsy shop as Christmas is on its way! But she has no space on the memory card in her camera, so she started to delete all the photos she doesn't want to keep. She soon had a stiff thumb, as every one had to be done individually, but it made her realise just how much she has achieved in the last year! The holiday cottage has been booked for pretty much every day since June and is already booked for Christmas!

It took some doing!

But the investment is beginning to pay off. Calum pointed out that they needed to buy winter duvets now as the nights are getting cold. Baggy's sister suggested fluffy covered hot water bottles too. A bit more money to spend, but it's worth it to make it a special holiday.

Flicking through the photos Clara realised too just how much has happened at the "new" house. And finally today Gloria Gardener had a confirmation that her garden is legally hers!

Onwards and upwards............
