Steam power versus horse power.

Depression (Black = really bad/Grey = not great/Blue = okay/Yellow = sunny day): Yellow.
Anxiety (From 1 = barely any to 10 = gibbering wreck standard): 2.

Apologies baggees, but Creative Clara hasn't had time to blog because Baggy has been having a lovely weekend with number one furry. Yesterday they went to Henham steam rally, which is literally ten minutes from the house. Hormonal Hannah wasn't too keen on the idea, but Calum really wanted to go, so of course Baggy said she'd go too. It was on all weekend, so having checked the weather forecast they decided that Saturday would be the dry day of the two. Furry Mama took Minty Mutt out first because she didn't think it would be wise to take him with them. Too much going on and too much noise. She was right about that - the lad would have been terrified. But they were totally wrong about the weather. It absolutely chucked it down! But it was a great day out.

There was so much to see Baggy was glad they went.

Today much to Grotty Groom's delight, they went and spent some time with the Boys. They brought them in and did a bit more work with them. Both horses were once again complete poppets, they are so relaxed and content at their "new" home. And they've been so beautifully looked after that they've kept their condition, even though they've not been in work. The Boy Wessles even did a couple of walk to canter transitions.

Joey and Calum are getting the hang of lunging as well. Although by the time it was their turn it was pouring with rain (the only rain of the day).

It shows how happy they are at this yard, because it was only when Grotty was leaving Wesley to go out with Cal and Joey, that it occurred to her that there were no other horses in the stable block. Apart from one call, he did nothing while Joey worked, just waited patiently.

Home now for rest and a roast chicken dinner. Hope you all had a lovely weekend too baggees........
