Note to readers (my lovely Baggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.
Baggy's daily state!

Overall day(s): 😊
As the whole of Halesworth was an antique and vintage fair last Sunday, Clever Bird was not optimistic that today's Brocante would be a good one for Creative Clara. It's only a little town so there aren't continual hoards of people around. But she wanted to go anyway to keep her "regular" spot and keep in with the organiser. She took all her "new" stock and set up, pretty much as she'd practised it at home. Even while she was still unpacking another trader, who bought some jewellery from Clara last month, was asking whether she had anything new. "Yep, quite a lot, but I haven't unpacked it yet".
"Oooooo, I love this".
"Haven't you seen that before?"
"No".
"Oh right, well you'll love all this as well then".
Clara picked out all Baggy's gold. There was lots of ooing and aahing, but sadly no sale. Clara kept unpacking. The lady reappeared.
"I know you'll love this". She did! One wide silver bangle and three silver rings later, Clara had already made a profit on the day - and the fair hadn't even officially opened! Clara kept on unpacking.
Nothing happened for the next couple of hours. Clever Bird was right - it was very quiet! The people who were there weren't buying. But then a chap who'd been looking earlier at a Vesta case, came back and offered a fixed price for the Vesta case and another silver one, plus a tiny lighter. It was a massive discount, but Clever Bird decided that as it was still a pure profit for Clara, she'd accept. At least they were off to a loving home!
The new stall layout seemed to be attracting a lot of attention.
Clara made a couple more tiny sales. But Clever Bird was quite happy because she knew that Clara had made another good profit on the day.
Baggy just needs to find another cloth to hang on the black netting of the stall behind her jewellery table, then it will look really pretty and girly! It suits Calum beautifully!!
Clever Bird was really pleased with the day. Even The Domestic Goddess had got her act together and made sandwiches for lunch (no precious profit wasted). But getting up at 5.00am is a challenge, and now, even though it's not even 7.00pm, she's ready for her bed. The state that a stressy Minty Mutt is in however, suggests that there's another storm coming in, so Furry Mama will be in for a long night - unless she can persuade number one furry to dog sit that is. Even Hormonal Hannah realises that that would be rather unreasonable though, after all his help today......
