As promised yesterday bloggees, Baggy has had a deja vu day! So she'll show you most of it with pictures.
After mutt walking, Realuv parcel posting and purple berry paint purchasing, Baggy took Grotty Groom over to see the horses. They'd been out. Yay! Their first time of turnout on grass since they arrived at the new yard. Apparently they were both very well behaved, that is until Joey decided that he wasn't coming back in, but even he was soon persuaded. They came in exhausted from the excitement and the hurtling about, even though they were only out briefly to get used to the grass again. Grotty was briefed that they were a tad muddy. Hmmmmm!
When Grotty walked into the barn, there was no sign of Wessles. Clever Bird realised that he was absolutely sparko, flat out on the floor. Creative Clara tried to get her camera set up on her phone, but Joey whickered at her and Wessles leapt up.
Armed with a tail brush and Minty Mutt's "Furminator" comb, Grotty set to. A happy hour later:
Okay bloggees, not exactly ready for a show, but a lot better. Psychic Ploppo realised just how itchy the lad was when he asked Grotty to go over his face with the metal Furminator!
Joey's turn:
Surprisingly, he hadn't done as good a job as Wessles - only one side was muddy, so it only took half an hour:
Both Boys loved every minute of their session, as did Grotty, although Baggy's arm and back ached like heck. Minty treats handed over, Baggy set off home.
Via the farm shop. Furry Mama needed cat litter; Grotty needed more minty treats. Now Clever Bird is not sure who to blame for Baggy's other purchase, (someone needs blaming as there is a bit of a cash flow crisis at present), Furry Mama, Creative Clara, Gloria Gardener or Hormonal Hannah, maybe all of them, but Baggy bought this:
She loves it!
Next stop, number one furry's man-shed painting. Second coat of purple berry, first coat of sunburst orange, but the shed sucked it up - it will be very bright when it's done!
A certain mutt wished to stick close by Furry Mama, instead he got stuck to the shed:
Handsome purple German Shepherd.
Gloria absolutely loves their garden, well their soon-to-be-garden, as technically they still don't own any of these bits, (not even Baggy's Dad's shed), but it's a wonderfully peaceful place to be:
Guess what Clara's got her eyes on next bloggees? Now what colour would suit that?
Depression - what depression?........
