Another day of stunning weather in little Suffolk. Much too nice for Baggy to be inside. So she wasn't! Furry Mama enjoyed her walk around Holton with Minty Mutt. Can you believe that sky bloggees?
Once home Baggy was keen to get The Domestic Goddess to pop a second layer of "sunburst" paint on number one furry's man-shed. Job done.
It's getting there. Cal needs to do some repair work on the roof before The Goddess can finish it off, so she decided to have a go at the inside.
It needed it! For those bloggees who are wondering why Baggy is not getting on with painting the house, doing the garden, or sorting out the soon-to-be-a-holiday cottage, or, for that matter, just getting on with some housework, well it's simple. Number one furry has wanted a space he could work in ever since Baggy has known him, and he hasn't had one. He is so incredibly supportive of Baggy, who's put him through the mill one way and another, that she wanted to do something special for him. So, the shed it was. It ended up being rather a large job. Clever Bird couldn't work out why the floor was literally covered in rippled mud, until she realised that it must have flooded and washed the mud through it. And rotted a carpet in the process. Gloria Gardener got involved with a hoe!
It took a while! The Goddess got carried away. Why she was cleaning shed windows when she hasn't even done the house's is anyone's guess - actually, no it's not, it was Furry Mama in charge! The finished result, number one furry can move his tools in.
Just as Baggy was finishing up, their friend turned up to do a bit of work on the new bit of land they're buying. It is to be a parking space for Dodgy truck.
Baggy left him to it. Creative Clara had a quick look around the garden, paint brush in hand.
Baggy is determined to have a crazy coloured garden! It's important that Baggy and Calum make the house their own. Baggy can just hear her Dad, "Well daughter, I certainly approve of you weather-proofing the shed and table. Interesting choice of colour". Bless him. Furry Mama was a little concerned that there might be lots of purple-footed birds hopping around Holton, until Freda Fretter pointed out that none had been near the table since Clara had a go at it!! Furry Mama is sure they'll love it once they're over the shock.
Meanwhile:
Baggy just wishes that there were more hours in the day, as there's so much to do. But at least she's loving doing it. And Minty Mutt is loving being outside with her.
She just needs number one furry home now, to show him his new space.......
