Note to readers (my lovely bloggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.
Today's good stuff:
1) Baggy woke up without a black cloud, or even a grey one.
2) Derek the dove was still alive.
3) Creative Clara had an order from her shop. This little Egyptian Glass Perfume Bottle that she put on last night, is now on its way to Texas.
4) It was a glorious day and Minty Mutt was bounding about like an over-sized puppy on his walk.
5) Clara put more things in Realuv and it now really does begin to look like a real shop!
6) Furry Mama made an improved, safer home for Derek.
7) Minty Mutt kept himself entertained in the bit of the garden that might soon actually really belong to Baggy and Calum - please cross your fingers bloggees!
8) Baggy ate healthy things all day and resisted letting Hormonal Hannah finish off the packet of ginger nut biscuits (Calum's) that she ate half of yesterday.
Today's bad stuff.
1) The Hinge is being sick. Last time this happened she ended up spending a week in hospital. Furry Mama is worried and giving her laxative.
2) Derek seems rather down and Clever Bird is not sure that he's eating.
3) The really bad thing. On the way to the Post Office to post Clara's parcel, Baggy started to get very panicky. By the time she parked the car, she was dizzy and shaky. She must also have looked rather pale because the chap behind the counter asked her if she was okay and whether she'd like a sweet! She made it home again without fainting, but couldn't face going to see the horses. Hannah just wanted her sanctuary - her house.
Clever Bird realised that although Baggy has no depression symptoms today, that other fun mental health issue, "anxiety" had decided to kick in. A person could get paranoid you know! Calum wondered if it was because she didn't want another confrontation with the rather unpleasant woman at the Post Office. It could have been. But now Baggy can't shake it. It's a feeling of worry, like the "sick" feeling you get if you're really nervous, but she has nothing specific to worry about. Just an impending feeling of doom, that won't go away. "We're all doomed", said in a Scottish accent like the lovely chap in Dad's Army. Clever Bird realises that she had the beginnings of it yesterday, (racing heart etc), when she went to see the horses. Sigh! If it's not one thing.........
