Note to readers (my lovely bloggees): For the avoidance of any doubt - every character in this blog is me!!! No Baggy was harmed in its writing.
The rubber band that pings Baggy backwards and forwards between her houses, has pinged her back home this afternoon, after her morning's physiotherapy session. But before that, Furry Mama took Minty Mutt on one of his favourite walks. The mutt seems to have found a new lease of life since the move to the new house. He has so much more energy. Today Baggy was struggling to keep up with him, which is great! The boy is nearly ten now after all, and in human years (for a German Shepherd) that's eighty years old, so he's no longer a spring chicken. Hopefully he'll have a few more years yet, but you never know, so Furry Mama tells him all the time how much she loves him. The cats were glad to have their Furry Mama home. Well, Creative Clara says that, but actually the Hinge couldn't care less and is asleep (as usual), on a cushion upstairs. Bracket on the other hand is so busy wrapping herself around Baggy's legs, that she's in grave danger of getting trodden on.
The physio. went well. It has taken Baggy years to get beyond the first step of building an inner core strength! Clever Bird (and the physio.) now know this is because Baggy had a fifteen centimetre ball, the former Lawrence-the-durmoid-cyst, sitting in the way. Since her surgery it has taken a lot of time to get any strength back, but whereas pre-surgery she could not do the most basic exercise, today she moved to level 2.5. She can't do it of course! Just in case you care bloggees: lie on the floor with your knees bent; without pushing on your elbows, lift your bottom from the floor (do not sway your body, do not let either hip drop, do not shake, do not place any weight on your elbows, remember to breathe); now still without other bits moving, lift your foot from the floor and straighten your leg out and hold it there. Repeat with the other leg. Hmmmm! Baggy hasn't a hope at present! Then the physio. said, "Well, I'm delighted that we have even been able to progress to this exercise. Of course I need all my horse riders to be at least a level 4". Some way to go then!
So, back at the house, Creative Clara can now share her pictures of The Domestic Goddess's nonsensical "stacking" on Saturday! Guess what this week's job is.
Once again it is also impossible to move in the garage! House re-claim Part 3 commences tomorrow. But at least Baggy and Calum's auction buy is in situ, ready for filling with Clara's etsy Realuv shop stock........
